Congratulations on taking the initiative to seek support, cultivate strength, learn new skills, improve your emotional wellbeing, and begin the process of healing and growth. I’m delighted to be a member of this team and it is my pleasure to work alongside you in your journey.

I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from California College of the Arts in Oakland, California where I majored in glass. Following many years of working, playing, exploring the world, and getting to know myself, I attended the University of Georgia to pursue my aspiration to train as a therapist. I served as a practicum intern at UGA’s Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) where I discovered my passion for working with young adults. After completing my graduate degree in social work, I worked with clients experiencing mental health crises as a clinician at Advantage Behavioral Health Systems in the Crisis Stabilization Unit.

The greatest compliment I can receive is to have someone share their story with me. Whether it’s within the therapy room or encountering people in daily life, I thrive on learning about others’ experiences. Rooted in humanist theory, I emphasize clients’ strengths, encourage growth and resilience, and uphold an unwavering respect for the worth of each person. I arrive at each session with authenticity, compassion, and curiosity. My therapeutic style incorporates humility, humor, sincerity, creativity, and candor.

My areas of interest include identity development, women’s issues, life transitions, trauma, and sex and sexuality. I particularly enjoy working with teenagers and young adults, and proudly serve LGBTQ+ clients and clients with diverse cultural, racial, and ethnic backgrounds. I maintain a trauma-informed approach and utilize treatment modalities such as DBT, CBT, and client-centered therapy.
