Chris Settel, LCSW, LISW-S
Adult Therapist

Chris has over 25 years of experience working in behavioral health. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Georgia. Chris completed a 10-day DBT training with Michael Maslar. He has additionally completed other trainings specific to DBT skills.

 

Chris has worked in both the private and public sector and with a variety of populations. He has extensive work history with adolescents and adults. Chris has worked with mental health issues like depression, anxiety, ADHD, relationship concerns, and substance abuse. He also has experience working with the LGBTQ+ population. He focuses on genuine interactions and supporting others in their path toward healing and wellness.

 

Through the years, Chris has and continues to provide supervision and training to other clinicians on a number of topics. He has presented on psychopathology, treatment planning, suicide assessment, use of telehealth, and the risks associated with bullying and cyberbullying.
